At Ready to Roll Bike Rentals, your Safety comes first. There is so much to see and do at the Jersey Shore, and bicycling to get around up close and personal is a great experience!

 

BE AWARE OF BIKE LANE SIGNS AND MARKINGS ON THE ROADWAY.

The Bike Lane on the left is on Mantoloking Barrier Island from Hubert St. to Bay Head.

During Peak Season, traffic can get congested and people's patience may grow thin, so keep your cool, and follow the Biking Guidelines and Rules of the Road BELOW, as listed on the New Jersey Bicycling Safety website.

DON'T FORGET TO WEAR YOUR HELMET!

Biking Guidelines and Rules of the Road

  • Obey local traffic laws

  • Ride with traffic flow

  • Stay in bike lanes where marked

  • The law requires every person under the age of 17 to wear a helmet

  • Watch for road hazards

  • Don’t get "doored"! - watch out for parked car doors

  • Yield to autos and pedestrians

  • Lock your bicycle when parked

  • One rider per bicycle
